In the Inbox…..

Remember me? It’s your old pal, Kel. I thought I was prepared to be a working mom, but let me tell ya, there’s nothing that can prepare you for that. Hence the short hiatus on blog posts.

Nonetheless, we’re back. For now, at least.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the last 3 years of dong this, it’s that if one person has a question about something, someone else likely has the same question.

So, I give to you a new series that I’m calling…In the Inbox….where I answer some of your most popular DMs for all to read.

  1. What’s your favorite gentle exfoliator?

  2. Red light therapy….is it worth the hype?

    • Red light therapy is super trendy right now, and I’d say it’s for good reason.

    • It helps with cell regeneration, increased blood flow, and collagen stimulation.

    • In case you missed it, I use the Aduro red light mask as part of my weekly skincare routine and love it!

  3. Are peaches good for your skin?

    • Peaches are a great source of beta-carotene and vitamin C.

    • Have potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and aide in collagen production.

    • I love a good overnight oat made with Zero Sugar Chobani greek yogurt (blueberry is my fave), oats, chia seeds, a peach, and a splash of almond milk. Try it and thank me later.

  4. What are these white spots on my son’s arms and cheeks?

    • Although these spots can seem quite alarming, pityriasis alba is actually a benign skin condition very common in kids and adolescents.

    • Typically asymptomatic and self-limited

    • SIGNIFICANTLY more noticeable in the summer when the surrounding skin is darker.

    • A good basic skincare routine of daily moisturizer and a mineral SPF helps to minimize the pigment discrepancy.

  5. Best recommendations for sensitive skin…..

Let’s cap it at 5 and pick up later…….

Hopefully you learned something. Until next time….

-xoxo
